Weird racket created by Sibylla Mcgrigor!

Sibylla:

‘Inspired by the Italian artist Alighiero Boetti (1940-1994), I have made my own version of his banjo, creating a double ended badminton racket.  I came to the BadmintonMet Badminton club in Holloway road as I wanted to photograph my object in a context where it belongs. Yet the function of the racket has been removed in a way that made it comical and at the same time useless for those in the environment’.
